Stuart Strickler has heard the horror stories about former NFL players disabled for life by repeated concussions. He knows about the reported links with head injuries and dementia, depression and suicide.
He also knows concussions aren’t simply an issue for pro athletes. His daughter, Caitlin, is a junior at Christian Academy and two months ago had to give up playing field hockey after suffering her third concussion.
